At Jewish Family & Children's Services of Southern Arizona (JFCS of Southern Arizona), we believe that everyone deserves access to the support systems they need to thrive. For over 75 years, we have been dedicated to providing a wide range of services to individuals, families, and communities throughout Southern Arizona. Our mission is to increase the well-being of individuals, families, and communities by providing trauma-informed, person-centered services to people from all backgrounds.

Our Services

Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of our clients, who come from diverse faiths, belief systems, races, ethnicities, ages, genders, sexual orientations, disability statuses, economic backgrounds, countries of origin, and other populations. We strive to meet the needs of our clients while showing respect for their beliefs, choices, values, and differences.

One of the primary services we offer is counseling. Our licensed therapists are trained to provide trauma-informed care and are available to meet with clients in-person in our Tucson office or online. We also offer online counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families.

We also provide a range of specialized services, including:

  • Older Adult Services: We offer counseling and support services to older adults, including those experiencing cognitive decline or trauma.
  • Emergency Financial Assistance: We provide emergency financial assistance to individuals and families in crisis.
  • Abuse & Neglect Prevention Services: Our services help families at risk of abuse and neglect, providing support and resources to keep families safe and strong.
  • Refugee Services: We provide support and resources to refugees and asylum seekers, helping them to settle and thrive in their new communities.
  • Jewish Holiday Programs: We offer programs and activities for the Jewish community, promoting connection and community.
  • Divorce Recovery: Our programs support individuals and families through the challenges of divorce and separation.
  • Services for Holocaust Survivors: We provide counseling, support, and resources to Holocaust survivors and their families.
