Unsatisfactory Experience
The author, Kingsley, rated their experience with a therapist as 1 star. They felt like they weren't being listened to during the online sessions, despite it being a different case from their previous therapists. The therapist would occasionally step away from the camera to clean her office, leaving Kingsley feeling like they weren't being attended to. The author also felt like the therapist was only partially engaged, often asking rhetorical questions and showing signs of distraction.
Lack of Attentive Listening
The therapist's inability to give Kingsley their full attention was a major issue. Kingsley felt like they were being talked at, rather than being heard. The therapist's responses often seemed ignorant of the context of the conversation, and they would frequently interrupt or ask unnecessary questions. This lack of attentive listening created a sense of frustration and disconnection for Kingsley.
Unprofessional Behavior
Kingsley's experience with the therapist was also marred by unprofessional behavior. The therapist's tendency to step away from the camera to perform unrelated tasks was distracting and unprofessional. The author felt like they were not being respected or taken seriously, and that the therapist was more interested in completing tasks than in providing quality therapy.
Overall Dissatisfaction
Overall, Kingsley's experience with this therapist was a disappointment. They felt like they weren't being heard, and that the therapist was not providing the level of care and attention they deserved. This experience left a negative impression, and Kingsley would not recommend this therapist to anyone.
