Empower Yourself, Heal Your Life

At Mindful Mama Counseling, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for women navigating the journey of infertility treatment and reproduction. Our founder, Jacqueline Shea Vance, LCSW, has over 15 years of experience in private practice and has walked the path of infertility herself. With her expertise and compassion, she offers a unique understanding of the emotional resilience required to persevere through the uncertainty and stress of reproductive medicine.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support women on their journey to motherhood. Our services include:

Mindfulness Fertility Support: We support women seeking motherhood through infertility treatments by offering tools for mindful self-compassion, stress-reduction, and managing catastrophic thoughts. Our approach emphasizes bringing awareness to the moment, freeing you from regrets and losses along the way and preoccupation with the crucial outcome.

Individual Psychotherapy: We offer 1:1 support to women to hold hope for motherhood and to honor the losses and heartaches of the journey with acceptance and compassion. From a Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) approach, we build upon emotional resilience to endure long waits for uncertain outcomes and invasive, impersonal protocols.

Embodied Trauma Recovery: Infertility can be traumatic, and we recognize the potential risks for mood disorders during and after pregnancy. Our approach focuses on mindfully transitioning to pregnancy with sensitivity to embodied trauma, gently guiding you to release the stress of reproductive trauma and loss.
