PRN Counseling

PRN Counseling is a boutique psychotherapy practice that has been serving clients in Maryland, DC, and Virginia since 2012. We provide personalized therapy services for individuals, families, and couples at any stage of life. Our team of trauma-informed clinicians is dedicated to building strong rapport with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout the therapy process. Our Services

*Individual, Group & Family Psychotherapy Services*

At PRN Counseling, we offer in-person sessions at our North Bethesda office and telehealth sessions for clients residing in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Our services include:

1. Family & Couples Therapy: Our licensed clinicians work with you to bring more peace to your household. We help you learn skills and work through concerns to communicate more effectively, manage family or marital challenges, and strengthen relationships.

2. SPACE Parent Coaching: Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. When SPACE treatment is successful, children feel less anxious and function better following treatment.

3. Individual Therapy for Adults: Our clinicians support adults dealing with a variety of concerns such as managing stress, life transitions, work/life balance, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD/ADD, and relationship challenges. We also provide parenting support and serve the senior (60+) population.

4. Therapy for Teens and Tweens: Our team helps guide teens and tweens, along with their parents, through the journey of supporting their mental health. We address mood shifts, frustration, and arguments at home, as well as school-related stressors.

5. Group Therapy: We offer a variety of support and skill-based groups for teens, tweens, and adults, including Parent support groups, Social Anxiety support groups, Social Skills Groups, and CBT Groups.

Professional Services

In addition to our therapy services, PRN Counseling offers:

1. Public Speaking: Our team provides presentations on various mental health topics for schools and workplaces.

2. Clinical Supervision: We offer clinical supervision for Masters Level Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors.
