Disappointing Experience with Counseling Practice
Author Charlie Urban shares a disturbing and frustrating experience with a counseling practice. The practice's refusal to send email confirmations resulted in missed appointments and subsequent fees. Despite requests from the author, the practice failed to accommodate the need for confirmations due to his limited access to his daughter's insurance information.
Communication Issues and Misconstrual
The author was unable to receive email confirmations, leading to missed appointments and misunderstandings. He requests this feature to ensure he stays on top of his daughter's schedule, which is synced to his email calendar. However, the practice refused to accommodate this request, leading to unnecessary stress and conflict.
Unprofessional Behavior
The author feels that the practice's owner showed a lack of understanding and empathy, leading to a disappointing and unprofessional experience. He attributes the practice's refusal to his limited access to his daughter's insurance information and believes they chose to "walk away" from providing services to his daughter in need.
Unresolved and Appalled
The author is still upset about the experience and feels his request was reasonable. He regrets having to start over with his daughter, and his anger lingers. The author hopes the practice will reevaluate its communication process and approach to customer service.
