Our team, led by Liza J. Vitiello, LMHC, NCC, is licensed in Florida and New York and board certified nationally. We are committed to facilitating the healing and empowerment of our clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

About Liza J. Vitiello, LMHC, NCC

Liza J. Vitiello is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the States of Florida and New York, and Board Certified Nationally by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). With extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and seniors, specializing in women's issues, Liza offers individual and group sessions. As a Humanistic/Psycho-Spiritual Psychotherapist, she emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual and strives to help you realize your own true potential.

Liza is also certified as a Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and is currently a few hours away from becoming a Certified EMDR Therapist. In addition, she has been trained in EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Clinical Hypnotherapy, New Advances in the Field of Eating Disorders, Exposure Therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Grief and Loss Issues including Survivors of Suicide, Depression and Anxiety, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.

Services Offered

At Associates in Counseling & Hypnotherapy, we offer a variety of services to meet the unique needs of our clients. These services include:

Individual Counseling: We offer individual counseling sessions for adolescents, adults, and seniors dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, body image issues, cancer support, stress management, postpartum depression, and women's issues.
Couples Counseling: We provide a safe and supportive environment for couples to work through relationship challenges, improve communication, and strengthen their bond.
Group Counseling: Our group therapy sessions provide a supportive community for individuals dealing with similar challenges. We offer groups for women supporting women through life transitions, such as bereavement, divorce, illness, cancer, and more.
Circle of Support Therapy Groups: These virtual and in-person groups for women offer a safe and supportive space to connect with other women and explore deeper issues of life.
EMDR & Hypnotherapy: We offer Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and hypnotherapy services to help clients overcome traumatic experiences and manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
