At Pathways Counseling & Growth Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in Lorain County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to empower our clients to reach their full potential by providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Our Services

Our multidisciplinary team of licensed therapists offers a range of counseling services, including individual, couple, and family therapy, as well as education and consultation services. We specialize in treating a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and phobias. We are also proud to offer EMDR therapy, a cutting-edge approach to treating trauma and distress.

In addition to our counseling services, we provide community education and consultation to other professionals, and we work in collaboration with other community services to ensure that our clients receive the comprehensive care they need. We also offer a sliding fee scale for clients with low to moderate income or those who are underinsured or uninsured, because we believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care.

Our History

Pathways Counseling & Growth Center was founded in 1981 as The Samaritan Counseling Center. Since then, we have grown and evolved to become a leading provider of mental health services in Lorain County. Today, we are a certified mental health agency with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and an accredited treatment center by CARF. We are proud to be a part of the Lorain County community and to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients.
