Services We Provide

At InnerSight Psychotherapy, we offer a range of services to help our patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Our services include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, involves efforts to examine and change unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns. CBT can help a person learn better ways of coping and become more effective in their life.

Life Coaching

Life Coaching is different from psychotherapy. Life coaching does not focus on symptoms but rather helps to identify strengths and weaknesses and overcome obstacles.

Mindfulness Therapy

Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (mindfulness therapy) is a type of psychotherapy that combines cognitive therapy, meditation, and mindfulness. This type of therapy was meant to build upon cognitive therapy, integrating it with a program to form mindfulness-based stress reduction.

Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy, or EMDR, is a specialized treatment intended to relieve some of the distress associated with memories of trauma. This technique used in therapy can help the brain process traumatic memories more adaptively and facilitate adaptive resolutions.

Lisa MacDonald, LICSW

For over 20 years, I have helped people make positive changes and improve their quality of life. In the past 10 years, I have specialized in the treatment and support of first responders, as well as military connected individuals and their families. Those in public service often face stigma and other challenges when seeking treatment. My experience and understanding of emergency response and military culture have been very important when creating a therapeutic relationship of trust and realistic expectations.

Heather Gould, LICSW, LADC

I have been in the counseling field for over 20 years and have had the privilege of working with many people in a variety of settings, including community mental health, outpatient substance abuse treatment, inpatient and outpatient hospital, and private practice. I have extensive experience working with people who suffer from chemical addiction, depression, a variety of anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, trauma, and interpersonal problems.

Our Commitment
