Transforming lives through healing and growth.
Wellspring Counseling Center, Inc. was founded in the spring of 2008 by partners Sheri McCallister and Brian Westrate, whose shared vision was to establish a counseling practice rooted in a fresh, attachment-focused approach. Their journey began as master's degree students at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where their paths crossed, and nearly a decade later, they found themselves collaborating at the same private practice counseling office. It was during these years that their complementary skills and shared passion for mental health blossomed, leading to the creation of Wellspring Counselling Center.
Over two decades of working together, Sheri and Brian have witnessed countless individuals experience healing, growth, and transformation within the safe and supportive environment they cultivate together. They believe that facing fear, pain, and despair head-on, with the right guidance, empowers individuals to reclaim their lives and discover their true potential. At Wellspring, they strive to foster a space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood, ultimately empowering them to navigate life's challenges with resilience and purpose.
The foundation of Wellspring Counseling Center rests on four core principles: reliability, consistency, openness, and empathy. These values permeate every interaction, creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, valued, and supported on their journey toward wholeness.
