Our Mission

Our mission at Onward Counseling Center is to ease emotional distress and resolve barriers to personal goals through thoughtful, practical, professional clinical care. We strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where individuals can feel comfortable sharing their concerns and working towards positive change.

Our Services

We offer a range of counseling services, including individual counseling, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy group counseling, and family counseling. Our services are designed to help individuals address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, problem behavior, self-esteem issues, school behavior, anger management, and stress management. We also provide counseling services for specific issues such as problematic anger, anxiety, depression, and stress.

Meet Our Counselors

Our team of counselors is experienced and confident in their ability to help individuals overcome challenging situations. Our counselors are skilled in providing individualized support and guidance to help individuals develop the skills and strategies needed to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Insurance and Location

We are in-network providers for several insurance companies, including BlueCross BlueShield and Optum/United Healthcare/United Behavioral Health. We are located in Lake County at 888 E Belvidere Rd, Suite 319 Grayslake, IL 60030. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with appointment availability Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
