Therapist's Approach and Effectiveness

The reviews highlight contrasting experiences with Dr. Winters' therapeutic approach and its impact on clients' lives. On one hand, one reviewer appreciated her no-nonsense approach and found her helpful in turning their life around. On the other hand, another reviewer had a disastrous experience, where Dr. Winters allegedly enabled their abusive husband, leading to increased violence and trauma.

Safety Concerns and Gaslighting

The negative review raises serious concerns about Dr. Winters' ability to recognize and address abusive relationships. The reviewer claims that Dr. Winters justified their husband's violent behavior, called their daughter a "spoiled brat and manipulative, " and failed to acknowledge the severity of the situation. This experience led to further trauma and the opening of CPS cases.

Positive Outcomes and Personal Connection
