At Advocate Christian Counseling, our mission is to help individuals, couples, and families find peace and healing through a spiritually focused approach to therapy. As a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, I, Becky Pawley Downey, am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

As a Christian counselor, I believe that my faith plays a vital role in my work. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and attachment-based therapy. I also hold certifications in trauma-focused therapy and have completed special training in areas such as complex PTSD treatment.

I have been practicing counseling for over two decades, with a wide range of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs, and I draw from a variety of evidence-based theories and techniques to help my clients achieve their goals.

Rates and Insurance

Our rates are competitive and designed to be affordable for individuals and families. For those with insurance, we are network providers for major insurance companies, and we also offer a sliding scale fee based on income. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards for payment.

Cancellation Policy

At Advocate Christian Counseling, we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. If you fail to show up for an appointment without prior notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
