Our Mission
Our mission is to provide beneficial opioid dependency counseling and maintenance services with the utmost respect and confidentiality. We believe that addiction is a chronic progressive brain disease characterized by relapse, and our approach combines medication-assisted treatment with counseling and education to promote long-term recovery.
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to address the complex needs of our patients. Our clinical services include individual counseling, psycho-social education, and case management, which are tailored to each patient's personalized treatment plan. Cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing are our most common clinical approaches. Our psycho-social education programs focus on education about addiction, methadone's role in treating opiate dependency, bio-psycho-social recovery, relapse prevention, and non-chemical coping strategies.
Our medical services involve regular physical evaluations, medication management, and monitoring. We also offer short- or long-term medically supervised withdrawal programs, where our medical practitioner will provide individualized tapering schedules.
Fees and Payment
Our professional service fees for treatment are $60 per week per person and $55 per week per family member (two or more individuals living in the same household undergoing treatment together). A one-time $25 intake fee is due prior to enrollment in our treatment program, which includes the initial screening, psycho-social assessment, physical examination, drug screen, and routine TB/RPR lab tests. Payments are accepted in cash, money order, or credit card and must be received in advance of services.
Admission and Discharge
Admission to our program is contingent upon the prospective patient having a history of one year of addiction to opioids. We consider exceptions for individuals who have been in chronic care institutions, previously in treatment and at risk of relapse, or recently released from a penal institution. Pregnant women who do not exhibit objective signs of withdrawal or physiological dependence may also be admitted immediately. We do not treat individuals under the age of 18 years. Patients are discharged when their treatment goals have been met, when the patient has made the decision to terminate treatment, or in rare instances where continuing treatment participation in our program is no longer beneficial.
