Healing the mind, body, and spirit to live life fully

Welcome to our practice, where we specialize in child, adolescent, adult, and family psychiatry. Our goal is to provide state-of-the-art care while maintaining a personal and attentive approach. We offer comprehensive assessments and treatments for individuals, couples, and families in a comfortable and professional setting.

Our Approach

At the heart of our practice are the core principles of attachment and learning/behavior. We believe that building strong relationships is vital to happiness, and that rewards and consequences can be used to shape behavior. At the same time, we recognize that each person is unique, and we tailor our treatments to suit each individual's specific concerns, taking into account their symptoms, history, and context.

We strive for excellence in all that we do. This means conducting thorough evaluations, providing accurate diagnoses, and offering recommendations that are based on up-to-date, rigorous research. Our aim is not just to reduce symptoms but to bring about visible improvement in our patients' lives, helping them to live fulfilling lives despite any obstacles or pain.

Treatment

We offer a wide range of treatments, including evidence-based psychotherapy and medication. We use medication conservatively, following evidence-based guidelines and seeking the smallest dose and shortest length of time possible. Our goal is to help people gain self-awareness and skills, which can eliminate the need for medication over time.

We treat a range of illnesses, from depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, tics, and trauma, to substance abuse and eating disorders. We are also available to consult with parents of infants on attachment. We work with individuals, families, and business partners, tailoring our approach to each person's specific needs.

Credentials

Our practice is led by Dr. Carl Fleisher, who has extensive education, training, and experience in psychiatry. Dr. Fleisher is a diplomate in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and has given lectures internationally and across the US.

Conclusion

Thank you for considering our practice for your mental health needs. We are committed to providing excellent, personalized care in a comfortable and professional setting. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to getting to know you.
