Our licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Joyce Yuan, has extensive experience working with adults in Portland, Oregon, and is dedicated to helping individuals alleviate their suffering, improve their relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.

Our Approach to Therapy

We believe that each individual is unique, and our approach to therapy is tailored to meet the individual's specific needs. We incorporate a wide range of theoretical approaches, including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral techniques, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care. Our approach is centered around building a strong therapeutic relationship, where we work collaboratively to identify and overcome obstacles, develop new coping skills, and gain a deeper understanding of oneself.

Our Services

We offer individual psychotherapy and couples therapy to adults, with sessions lasting between 45 to 60 minutes. Our office is conveniently located on the Central Eastside of Portland, easily accessible by car or public transportation. We welcome clients of all genders and ethnicities, and are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Treatment Specializations

We have extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, relationships problems, adjustment to major life changes, academic stress, anger management problems, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, and sleep disturbances. We also have a specialization in treating military veterans and have worked extensively with young professionals, graduate and college students, and military veterans.

Insurance and Payment

We are in-network with Aetna, First Choice Health, PacificSource, and United Healthcare Plans. We also provide documentation to help our clients obtain reimbursement for out-of-network insurance benefits. We welcome self-pay clients and accept major credit cards and cash for payment.
