Services
Play Therapy
Utilizing play as a therapeutic language, our clinicians help children process emotions and develop coping skills through non-directive and structured interventions. Our Registered Play Therapists create safe environments where children can explore social dynamics, work through trauma, and build emotional resilience using age-appropriate techniques tailored to individual developmental stages.
Animal-Assisted Therapy
Incorporating trained therapy dogs into sessions, this modality enhances emotional engagement through co-therapist interactions. Children develop empathy and social skills while working with animals during play activities, grooming sessions, and obedience training exercises that parallel therapeutic goals. The presence of animals creates comforting connections that facilitate emotional expression and behavioral change.
Sandtray Therapy
This sensory-based intervention allows clients to create symbolic representations of their experiences using miniature figures in sand. Effective for trauma processing and emotional regulation, sandtray therapy provides tactile engagement that helps adolescents and adults articulate complex feelings when verbal communication proves challenging, fostering deeper self-understanding through metaphorical expression.
Equine-Assisted Therapy
Conducted in outdoor rural settings, these sessions use horse-related activities to build self-esteem and social skills. Clients engage in grooming, observation, and cooperative exercises that promote emotional awareness and interpersonal growth through non-verbal communication with horses, developing trust and boundary-setting abilities in naturalistic therapeutic environments.
Family Counseling
We facilitate collaborative treatment planning involving family members to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Our approach strengthens parent-child relationships through filial therapy techniques and educates families about mental health issues, creating supportive home environments that reinforce progress made during individual sessions while addressing systemic family dynamics.
