Dr. Beth Watson: Dr. Watson is a warm and understanding licensed clinical psychologist who brings extensive experience and training to her practice. Her specialization lies in treating children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression and anxiety. Holding a doctorate from Columbia University, Dr. Watson utilizes advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, coupled with her experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), both individually and in group settings. This integrative approach reflects her commitment to evidence-based practice and her belief in treating each client as an individual, adapting her techniques to their specific needs. Dr. Watson also has a passion for parent coaching, working alongside families to create supportive environments that foster the well-being of children and adolescents.
Dr. Beth Barbarasch: Dr. Barbarasch is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist with a Psy. D. in School Psychology from Rutgers University. Her career has spanned diverse settings, from public schools and community mental health clinics to private practice. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of ages and populations, including adults, children, and families. Dr. Barbarasch's approach is eclectic, drawing upon cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and play therapy methods to create a personalized therapeutic experience. She is highly experienced in working with children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, significant loss, and trauma. Dr. Barbarasch's background as a school psychologist has instilled a deep understanding of the educational system and a strong commitment to advocating for students' needs within it.
