Transforming lives, one conversation at a time.

Welcome to our practice, where we offer a range of services including individual psychotherapy and consultation for mental health professionals. Our clinical psychologist, Scott Renschler, Psy. D., is dedicated to helping adults navigate their mental health journey. With a focus on psychodynamic and relational approaches, our services aim to bring about deeper understanding and positive change in your life. Whether you're seeking to address relationship patterns, identity issues, grief, or existential concerns, we're here to support you.

Our Expertise

Scott Renschler, Psy. D., brings extensive experience and training to his practice. He received his Doctor of Psychology (Psy. D.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees in clinical psychology from the Washington School of Professional Psychology in Seattle. He has completed his internship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is licensed as a psychologist in Washington State. Scott's clinical training covers a wide range of psychological services, including community mental health, psychological testing, and in-depth psychotherapy. He has worked in various settings, such as college counseling centers, low-fee community clinics, and psychiatric emergency rooms.

Our Approach

Our approach to psychotherapy is centered around the idea that the past informs the present. We believe that becoming aware of unconscious patterns of thought, behavior, and relating to others can lead to greater control over one's life. We also draw on cognitive and behavioral techniques when appropriate, recognizing that symptom relief may be necessary in the short term. Our goal is to help you develop insight into your relationship patterns and other concerns, leading to healthier relationships and a more fulfilling life.

What to Expect

If you choose to work with us, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are valued. We will work together to identify your goals and develop strategies to achieve them. We also recognize the importance of referring you to other healthcare providers when necessary. Throughout our work together, we will focus on your relationship patterns, identity, grief, life transitions, and existential concerns, using a variety of approaches to meet your unique needs.
