Empowering Change, One Conversation at a Time.

Welcome to Dr. Gregory Gayle's private practice, a place where you can find peace of mind and a safe space to explore, discuss, and process important issues that affect your life and your family members. Our goal is to provide you with compassionate care, helpful tools, and useful skills that you can use outside of the therapy room.

Dr. Gregory Gayle, a licensed psychologist in California, has extensive experience in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and educational institutions. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Highland Hospital and as a Psychological Assistant for Paul T. Guillory, Ph. D. & Associates in Oakland. Dr. Gayle completed his Predoctoral internship at AgeSong Institute, an assisted living community for elders, with several locations in the Bay Area. He has also provided psychotherapy for clients at Marin Health and Human Services (Child and Family Services), the Berkeley CBT Clinic, and the Wright Institute Clinic.

Dr. Gayle holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley and a Master's degree in Education from St. Xavier University in Cincinnati. He is a licensed teacher in California and is passionate about providing compassionate care to his clients.

Dr. Gayle uses an eclectic approach to providing psychotherapy, as he believes that one size does not fit all. He tailors his therapeutic interventions to the specific needs, issues, and problems that each person uniquely presents. He draws from various therapeutic approaches, including Existential/Humanistic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems and Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques. He also considers the impact that physiological, psychosocial, and multicultural factors have on mental health.
