Our mission is to support the healing journey of individuals and families who have been impacted by trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. We believe that everyone deserves to experience happiness, health, and joy, and we are committed to providing the resources and support needed to help individuals regain a sense of hope and balance in their lives.

At Mariposa, we offer a range of programs and therapies designed to meet the unique needs of each individual or family. Our services include:
Counseling
Our licensed therapists provide individual, group, and family counseling services to help individuals overcome a range of challenges, including trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and more.
Online Counseling
Our virtual counseling services provide individuals with the flexibility to access counseling from the comfort of their own homes, at a time that works best for them.
Group Therapy
Our group therapy programs bring together individuals who have shared similar experiences, providing a safe and supportive environment to explore and process challenges together.
Substance Abuse Counseling
Our gender-specific drug and alcohol treatment programs provide individuals with the tools and support needed to overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery.
Equine Therapy
Our horse-assisted therapy programs utilize the healing power of horses to support individuals in their journey towards physical and mental wellness.
School-Based Mental Health
Our school-based counseling services provide students with the tools and support needed to build confidence, overcome self-doubt, and achieve academic success.
Our Team
Our team of licensed therapists, clinicians, and professionals are dedicated to providing high-quality services to individuals and families in need. Our leadership team includes Dr. Krista Driver, LMFT, President & CEO; Lindsey Crook, LMFT, Director of Operations; Tina Rossi, LCSW, CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services Program Director; Megan Mallon, LCSW, Community Counseling Program Director; and Marcela Lucero, CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services Program Administrator.
Our Impact
Since 1977, Mariposa has served thousands of individuals and families in Orange County, providing hope, healing, and empowerment to those who need it most. We are proud to have had a lasting impact on the lives of over 120,000 individuals and families, and we are committed to continuing our mission to support those in need.
Positive Experiences
Several reviewers have shared positive experiences with Mariposa Center. One reviewer, Kelley Robinson, mentions that the center helped her overcome personal issues in the 90s and notes that she will always be grateful for the support she received. Israel Barragan praises his counselor, Tina, for her dedication and care, stating that she helped him become a better person and achieve personal growth.
Negative Experiences
On the other hand, Yuliana Marcial had a drastically different experience. She gives the center a 1-star rating and expresses frustration with the individual therapy services she received. She claims that the staff is only interested in making money and feels that she was ripped off after wasting over $600 on sessions. She also accuses the center of being unprofessional and making false statements.
