Victoria Counseling Services

Victoria Counseling Services is an Outpatient Adult Psychiatry practice located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The practice was established in 2015 following the sudden death of a beloved younger sister, Victoria, who struggled with severe depression and PTSD. As an Acute/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner, I was motivated to pursue a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Degree to educate families and the public about mental illness, reduce barriers for those seeking treatment, and collectively reduce stigmatization of mental illness within our society.

Services

Our services include Medication Management and Evaluation, Individual Therapy, Crisis Intervention Services, Psychotherapy & Psychopharmacology for various conditions such as Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, Sleep-Wake Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, and Trauma and Stress-Related Disorders. We also offer Telepsychiatry services for patients within the state of Massachusetts, providing both psychotherapy and medication through electronic means.

Insurance

We accept various insurance plans including BCBS, Cigna, Aetna/Meritain, Blue Benefit Administration, Health New England, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, United Healthcare/Optum, Always Health Plan, ComPsych, GIC, Mass Health Plans, Be Healthy Partnership, Partners HealthCare Choice, Steward Health Choice, and Community Care Cooperative.

Telepsychiatry

For Telepsychiatry, we require an electronic device with a camera and volume, and Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity. Patients must pay their copay, co-insurance, and deductible before the appointment. We also need a current medication list, most recent clinic notes, and consent forms signed at least 24 hours before the visit. We utilize a secure data transmission and privacy protocols, compliant with HIPPA and HITECH requirements.
