Our Approach

As a licensed therapist, I, Shanta Milner, LPC, NCC, take a collaborative approach to therapy. I believe that counseling should be a collaborative process that empowers individuals to take an active role in their healing and growth. My eclectic therapeutic approach draws from various evidence-based treatments and modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices. I work closely with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their goals and preferences.

Services

We offer two primary services: counseling and coaching. Our counseling services provide individuals, couples, and families with a confidential and supportive space to work through challenges, establish personal goals, and actively work towards change. Coaching, on the other hand, is designed to help individuals focus on their self-discovery, overcome mental blocks, and explore their life's purpose.

Telebehavioral Health

In a rapidly changing world, traditional in-office settings may not always be feasible or convenient. That's why we offer telebehavioral health services, which allow clients to access our services from the comfort of their own homes. Our telebehavioral health services minimize the anxiety often associated with traditional in-office settings, making it easier for clients to seek the help they need.
