The Institute for Spiritual Life and Psychotherapy (ISLPMA) is a non-profit agency dedicated to integrating spirituality and psychology to promote emotional and spiritual well-being. We believe that every individual has inherent value and deserves a holistic approach to healing and growth. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and work towards personal growth, healing, and transformation.

Our Services

At ISLPMA, we offer a wide range of services designed to facilitate the healing of the heart, mind, and spirit. Our services include:

• Pastoral Counseling Services: Our team of licensed clinicians offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy for various life concerns, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, relational problems, and more.
• Spiritual Direction: Our experienced spiritual directors provide compassionate guidance and support to help individuals deepen their spiritual practices and connection with God or a higher power.
• Training and Supervision: We offer workshops and training programs for mental health professionals looking to integrate spirituality and psychology in their practice.
• Research and Writing: Our research team conducts studies and publishes papers on the intersection of spirituality and psychology.
• Retreats: We organize retreats and workshops that facilitate personal growth, spiritual exploration, and community building.
• Preventative Mental Health Workshops: Our workshops aim to promote mental wellness and prevent mental health issues by educating individuals on stress management, mindfulness, and self-care.

Our staff consists of licensed clinical psychologists, licensed therapists, licensed social workers, and other mental health professionals who are dedicated to providing compassionate and holistic care. Our team is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where individuals from all walks of life can feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Locations

We have offices located in Hanover, Hanson, New Bedford, Brockton, and Braintree, serving the South Shore of Massachusetts. We also offer in-home services for clients with disabilities and elderly individuals.

Insurance and Sliding Fee Scale

We accept most insurance plans and offer a sliding fee scale for those without insurance coverage. This ensures that our services are accessible to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status.
