Lisa M. Abela-Tesner, MA, LPC, MHS, is a licensed professional counselor with over 7 years of clinical experience. She has worked in various settings, including community mental health agencies, private practice counseling organizations, and hospital and substance abuse treatment clinics. Lisa specializes in working with adults, children, and adolescents, focusing on solution-focused techniques and developing coping skills to improve quality of life. Her specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, grief and loss, anger management, behavioral difficulties, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, self-esteem enhancement, social awkwardness, and stress management.
