Who We Are
At Impact Counseling & Guidance Center, we are a faith-based counseling and guidance center located in Arlington, Texas. Our mission is to help individuals, families, and communities find peace, purpose, joy, and fulfillment through our professional counseling services. We welcome people of all faiths and backgrounds, and our team of licensed professional counselors and therapists is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for our clients.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of counseling services, including:
Play Therapy: A specialized form of therapy designed for young children to express their emotions and work through challenges in a fun and creative way.
Individual Counseling: We offer one-on-one therapy sessions for individuals, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors, addressing various issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and more.
Family Counseling: We work with families to strengthen relationships, overcome communication barriers, and develop effective problem-solving skills.
Premarital Counseling: Our team of trained therapists helps engaged couples prepare for a successful and fulfilling marriage.
Marriage Counseling: We provide couples therapy to address relationship struggles, build stronger bonds, and foster a deeper connection.
Telehealth Therapy: Through our virtual therapy platform, we offer convenient and accessible counseling services for those who may not have the ability to travel or prefer the flexibility of online sessions.

Dr. Ed Laymance, Founder and Director, with a Ph. D. in Education, LPC, LMFT, and BCPCC; Tonya Trentham, MS, LPC-S, and Chief Operations Manager; Stacy Rhodes, Office Manager; Dee Wright, Office Manager; Natalie Bartoo, MACC, LPC, BCPCC; Tina Brackeen, MSW, LCSW, BCPCC; and Dr. Dan Clement, Psychologist, LPC-S.
Our Facilities
Our office is conveniently located on the campus of Lake Church in Arlington, Texas. We are open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. by appointment only.
