Disappointing Experience with Sunstone Counseling
Sunstone Counseling seemingly had a mix of both successes and failures in their customer service and therapy sessions. James Goudie gave the company 3 stars, explaining that he had a difficult time getting a 15-minute consultation scheduled due to lack of communication and confirmation from the staff. Despite being told that the therapist was not licensed in Maryland when he clarified during the booking process, the company still failed to call him at the scheduled time. Although Amy, a co-owner, apologized and personally connected him with a suitable therapist, James was still left feeling frustrated and confused.
Exceptional Service and Therapists
On the other hand, Angelique Ayala, Erika Garza, and Kiley Smith praised Sunstone Counseling for their dedication to training staff, high-quality therapy sessions, and commitment to their clients. For them, the company provided a favorable experience that resulted in positive changes in their lives. Stephanie Garza even went as far as to recommend the business to anyone, citing the staff's professionalism and cleanliness.
Unsatisfactory Experience with a Therapist
Erika Herrera, however, had a very different experience with Sunstone Counseling. She felt that the receptionist was unorganized and failed to match her with a suitable counselor based on her preferences. Her first session with the counselor she was matched with was cold, impersonal, and lacking in emotional connection. She felt undervalued and unlistened to, and her experience was disappointing.
