Family Christian Counseling Center is a faith-based counseling center that has been serving the community since 2010. We are dedicated to providing high-quality counseling services to individuals, couples, and families of all ages and stages of life. Our Specialties

Children's Therapy: We have a special love for children and offer a variety of therapies that are both creative and effective. Our therapists use sand tray therapy, play therapy, and canine-assisted therapy to help children express themselves and heal from trauma.

Family Therapy: Our family therapy program is designed to teach families new and positive ways to communicate. We believe that strong families are the foundation of a healthy society, and we are committed to helping families build stronger relationships.

Marriage Therapy: Our marriage therapy program is based on the Gottman Method of Marriage Therapy. Our therapists are trained to help couples communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and build stronger relationships.

Trauma Therapy: We specialize in helping children and adults who have experienced trauma. Our therapists use evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems to help clients heal from trauma and build resilience.

Autism Therapy: We offer therapies for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our therapists use a variety of therapies, including play therapy and social skills training, to help children with ASD build social skills and improve communication.

Deborah Pettitt, Director: Deborah is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 20 years of experience in counseling. She specializes in trauma therapy, family therapy, and marriage therapy.

Kerri Gardner: Kerri is a licensed professional counselor with expertise in child therapy and play therapy.

Mike DeMoss: Mike is a licensed marriage and family therapist with expertise in marriage therapy and the Gottman Method of Marriage Therapy.

Dr. Brie Turns: Dr. Turns is a licensed marriage and family therapist with expertise in trauma therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems.

Our Approach

Our Location

We are conveniently located in Phoenix, Arizona, with satellite offices in Avondale and Chandler. Our main office is located in a restored territorial-style building in north central Phoenix, where clients can enjoy a warm and welcoming environment. We also have a satellite office on Dobson Road in Chandler.
