At the Boerne Counseling Center, we understand that life can be challenging and overwhelming at times. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where individuals can find healing, restoration, and redemption. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I, Daren Lowman, have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families overcome various challenges, including addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

As a Christian counselor, I believe that faith and spirituality can play a significant role in the healing process. My approach is centered around a grace-based model, which emphasizes God's unconditional love and forgiveness. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices to address specific issues and concerns.

The Journey to Recovery

My personal journey has unique parallels to the challenges faced by my clients. Having experienced cancer, marriage difficulties, parenting struggles, infertility, life with an abusive father, and the loss of loved ones, I understand the pain and struggle that comes with such experiences. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope." My hope is to help others find redemption, reconciliation, and restoration in their own journeys.
