Our Mission and Vision

At Missouri Behavioral Health Counseling Associates, our mission is to serve Missouri citizens and provide services that ensure the safety, welfare, and improve quality of life for all Missourian children, adolescents, and families. Our vision is to provide H.O.P.E. by Helping Ordinary People live Extraordinary lives. We strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve, offering a range of services that cater to the unique needs of each individual and family.

Our Founders

The combined expertise of our founders brings over 40 years of experience in serving Missouri children and families. They have played a strong role in advocating for children and families, empowering communities, developing needed services, and reflecting a strong commitment to the betterment of Missouri children and families. Our founders are passionately committed to the children, families, and those who serve them.

Our Clinicians

We employ and contract with a highly educated, skilled, professional treatment team. Our clinicians specialize in trauma and addiction, focusing on the well-being, improved mental health, and reduction of trauma with the individuals they serve. They are all committed to improving the welfare of Missouri's children and families and engaged in a vast range of services, including parent supportive education, community and school-based prevention programs, individual and family counseling, addiction counseling, emergency crisis response, residential treatment, early childhood education, and much more.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including Neuropsychological Assessment Services, Safety. First., Addiction/trauma Project S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H, and Path to Permanency, among others. Our services are designed to address the diverse needs of our clients, from early childhood education to residential treatment, ensuring that every individual has access to the support they need to thrive.

Our Clinical Staff

Dr. Paul Iles, Psy. D, is our Founder and Vice President of Clinical Services. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Dr. Iles has a wealth of knowledge and skills in various areas, including Individual & Family Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Addiction Counseling. Sheila Buie, MA, LPC, CCDP-D, serves as our Founder, President/Chief Executive Officer, bringing a deep understanding of the needs of our clients and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
