About Preeti Shah, MACP, LMHC

Preeti Shah is a licensed mental health counselor with a Master of Art in Counseling Psychology. She has a heartfelt passion for helping people find their way to forming healthy attachments and intimacy in their relationships. Preeti helps her clients make sense of the stories of their past and open possibilities for those stories yet to be told. She maintains a private practice in Snohomish, WA, where she draws from her training in various methods of therapy to offer the highest level of professional, personalized counseling for individuals and couples.

Preeti Shah Therapy offers a range of services, including individual and couples counseling. We specialize in treating depression and anxiety, infidelity, parenting support, co-dependency, partners of sex and love addicts, emotional regulation, sex addiction & recovery, conflict regulation, trauma, sexual abuse, and relational struggles.

Our approach to therapy includes the use of Sexual Health, EMDR, psychodynamic, "Here and Now" approach, Gottman Method of Conflict Regulation, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Differentiation Model of Health. We consider it a sacred privilege to be invited into the lives and stories of those we work with in counseling.

Therapy Groups

Preeti Shah Therapy offers therapy groups for those facing heartbreak, female sex and love addicts, and partners of sex, love, or porn addicts. When your most intimate relationship has been devastated by sexual betrayal, you can be left struggling with questions like: How can I trust again? Is it my fault? How did he get this way? How can I tell if he is changing? Our therapy groups provide a safe space for individuals to process their emotions and experiences, learn new skills, and connect with others who are going through similar struggles.
