The Counseling Center is a private, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing prevention and treatment services to the residents of Otero and Lincoln Counties who are mentally ill, suffering from psycho-emotional distress, having substance abuse disorders, and/or demonstrating dysfunctional human behavior in any other area of functional living. For over 50 years, we have been committed to promoting optimum well-being to anyone requesting our assistance.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide an array of quality behavioral, social, and support services to families and youth in need of assistance dealing with life challenges. We strive to offer a comprehensive range of services and activities that promote personal growth, increase strengths and support systems, and promote awareness of substance abuse and its attending behavioral, mental, and emotional disorders.
