Our Story

Sage Center's journey began when Angela and Pegge, our co-founders, had a conversation about creating the ideal counseling center. As they talked, they realized a shared vision: to create a safe space where clients could face their challenges and overcome obstacles. The seed was planted, and over time, the dialogue continued, creating the perfect conditions for change. The pivotal moment arrived when Angela looked at Pegge and said, "Why not now?" The energy in the room became intense, full, and alive! From that day forward, Sage Center was no longer a dream but a reality in the making.

Continuing Education

• Workshops and presentations for counselors and healthcare professionals
• Clinical supervision and mentoring for associate-level counselors in pursuit of LPC licensure
• Clinical consultation and mentoring for mental health professionals to address clinical cases, professional ethics, clinician health and wellness, and practice administration and development.

Sage Therapy and Education Partnership (STEP)

• A program offering reduced-fee counseling and psychotherapy services to members of the community based on a sliding scale.
