At our practice, we understand the complexities of modern life and the challenges that come with it. We believe that every individual deserves a chance to rediscover their true self and find balance in their lives. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I, Dr. Jill Ilagan, have dedicated my practice to helping adults and adolescents navigate the complexities of chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating.
Our Approach
My approach is centered around compassion, non-judgment, and collaboration. I use an eclectic approach tailored to each client's individual needs, incorporating techniques from narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and client-centered approaches. My goal is to empower my clients to take control of their lives, break free from the cycles of thought and behavior that hold them back, and find balance and harmony.
Specialization in Disordered Eating
As a specialist in disordered eating, I have a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological struggles that come with body image concerns, relationship issues, and chronic stress. I work closely with my clients to help them develop a more compassionate and accepting relationship with their bodies, rather than trying to dictate their bodies through disordered eating behaviors. Together, we work to identify the root causes of their struggles and develop coping skills to manage the anxiety, guilt, and shame associated with these issues.
Services Offered
Our practice offers individual therapy sessions, which can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. We also provide group therapy sessions and educational workshops focused on self-acceptance, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.
Fees and Insurance
Our therapy sessions are $120 per 50-minute session. We do not accept insurance at this time, but we can provide clients with the necessary paperwork to request reimbursement from their insurance providers. Additional appointment times are available as needed for clients with special scheduling needs.
Resources
To support our clients on their journey towards recovery, we provide resources for further learning and support. These include a selection of recommended books, websites, and online communities focused on disordered eating, body image, and mental health.
