Kristen L. Venit, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. With over two decades of experience in the field, Kristen has developed a warm and non-judgmental approach to therapy, providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore their concerns and work towards lasting improvements in their lives.

Kristen offers a wide range of therapeutic services to her clients, including individual, couples, and family therapy. Her expertise spans a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attention issues, and life transitions. She is particularly skilled in helping clients cope with significant life events, such as divorce, adoption, and career changes.

Education and Credentials

Kristen earned her Bachelor's degree in Children and Family Studies from the University of Maryland in 1992. She went on to earn her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland's School of Social Work in 1994. She is licensed to practice as a clinical social worker in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Kristen is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics.

Kristen's office is conveniently located near South Park Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is committed to maintaining confidentiality and adheres to the Federal Regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy, also known as HIPAA. Kristen accepts Blue Cross & Blue Shield insurance and collects fees directly from clients. She also accepts cash, checks, credit cards, HSA cards, Zelle, and Venmo.
