Mission & Vision

I am Jean Lampert, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. My passion lies in supporting adults in overcoming challenges and achieving greater peace, joy, and fulfillment in their lives. I take a holistic approach, focusing on the intricate connection between the body, mind, and spirit.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy offers a safe and confidential space for you to explore the complexities of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I specialize in helping clients address:

• Grief and loss
• Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• Painful relationship patterns

My Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in somatic therapy, integrating:

• Somatic Experiencing: Techniques for body awareness, including mindful movement, sensation exploration, and breathwork to release tension and restore balance.
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A trauma-informed approach that helps process painful memories and move forward.
• Somatic Regulation Touch Skills: Techniques to self-regulate and manage emotional and physical discomfort.

My Background and Training

I hold a Master of Education in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield. I am an EMDR International Association (EMDIA) certified therapist and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the Ventura County Chapter of CAMFT.
