Why We Work Independently of Insurance

We believe that you, as the client, should have control over your mental health journey. By choosing private pay, you are free to decide how long you are in therapy, what treatments you respond to, and how you approach your wellness. Insurance companies often dictate how many sessions you are allowed, what treatments are covered, and even monitor your progress. We work solely for you, not for insurance companies. When you choose private pay, you are in charge of your therapy, and we work collaboratively to meet your unique needs.

Good Faith Estimate

As of January 2022, federal laws have been updated to include the "No Surprises" Act. We are now required to provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) to clients without insurance or those who do not use insurance. This new regulation ensures transparency in estimating expected medical expenses and protects clients from unexpected bills. This applies to mental health services as well.

How Long Will Therapy Take?

Every client's journey is unique, and the length of therapy varies depending on individual factors. Some clients may achieve desired outcomes in a few sessions, while others may require longer-term support. We work collaboratively to determine your therapy goals and frequency of sessions.
