Center For Counseling & Consultation

Established in 1968, The Center for Counseling and Consultation is a premier Central Kansas mental health provider. Our licensed professionals care for you and your family's mental health, substance abuse issues, crisis and emotional support, and much more. We serve residents of Barton, Rice, Stafford, and Pawnee Kansas Counties. Our mission is to provide quality mental health services to our community, regardless of race, color, nationality, age, disability, sex, or income.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to cater to the diverse needs of our clients. These include:

• Therapy: Our therapy services are provided by qualified mental health professionals who are licensed by the State of Kansas. We offer client-centered services for individual, family, couples, and group counseling. Our therapists work with you on needed skills that will help you navigate through life's challenges.

• Medication Evaluations: We provide medication evaluations to help manage symptoms and improve overall well-being. Our professionals work closely with clients to find the right medication and dosage.

• Crisis: We offer crisis services available 24/7. Our on-call professionals are ready to help you through any difficult situation.

• Community and Children's Support: We provide support services for children and the community. From school difficulties to family issues, we are here to help.

How to Get Started

If you're new to The Center, here's how to get started:

1. Registration Form: Click the button below to go to our online registration intake forms. Fill out each section of the forms and be sure to hit the "submit" button at the end.

2. Appointment Scheduling: Once the form is submitted, we will reach out to you to set up your appointment time. You will need to provide your Photo ID, Insurance Card, and Proof of income.

3. Payment Plans: Fees or copay is expected at time of consultation. The Center for Counseling & Consultation will not refuse services due to inability to pay. We will file with your insurance company first and then can offer you a reduced fee based on your income. We are happy to work out a payment plan that is affordable for you.

A Little About Us

The Center was established in 1968 by the local Mental Health Association in conjunction with area county commissioners. It is a Community Mental Health Center organized under Kansas Law, governed by a board composed of citizens from each of the four participating counties, including consumer and family member representation. The Center is staffed by licensed mental health professionals.
