Our Skilled and Compassionate Therapists
Our team of therapists includes Dr. Christina Lu and Dr. Coren Kajioka. Both are highly trained and experienced psychologists with a deep commitment to providing compassionate and effective therapy.
Dr. Lu works with clients of all ages through individual, couples, and family therapy. She specializes in areas of clinical focus that include depression, anxiety, trauma, partner and sexual abuse, family conflict, divorce, LGBT and relationship issues. Dr. Lu has extensive training in couples and family work as well as emotion-focused models. She approaches therapy with gentleness and empathy, utilizing an integrative approach to growth and healing.
Dr. Kajioka has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She specializes in areas of clinical focus that include anxiety, depression, trauma, and attachment issues. Dr. Kajioka has a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing children and adolescents and is committed to providing a safe and supportive space for them to explore their emotions and experiences.
We are committed to providing a convenient and accessible location for our clients. Our center is centrally located in the heart of downtown Honolulu (American Savings Bank Tower) in Bishop Square. We offer flexible hours and will work with you to schedule convenient times for your appointments.

Initial Disappointment
Author Sara Ah Kuoi-Lavatai had a disappointing experience attempting to reach out to Dr. Lu for services. Despite multiple attempts, she received no response via email, text, or phone call.
Exceptional Experience
Authors Eric and Daniel Chang, on the other hand, had wonderful experiences working with Dr. Lu. Eric noted that Dr. Lu is knowledgeable, compassionate, and easy to converse with, and that she seemed genuinely interested and concerned with his issues. Daniel Chang praised the office, saying it's beautiful and relaxing, like a spa. He also appreciated the professionalism and pleasantness of the receptionist and the knowledge and amazing skills of the psychologists.
