TrueNorth Christian Counseling

TrueNorth Christian Counseling was founded in 2003 by Catherine Ehlers and Melissa Armbruster with the mission to provide counseling that is truly Christian. We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and that prayer is a necessity in the counseling process. Our center has evolved over the years to now offer exclusive Telehealth services, making it accessible to anyone living within the state of Michigan. We are committed to helping individuals integrate Christian principles into the process of resolving personal issues.

Our History

TrueNorth was born out of much prayer and a partnership between Catherine Ehlers and Melissa Armbruster. They shared a common believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and that prayer is essential in the counseling process. Together, they offered counseling, groups, classes, and workshops that reflected their faith in God as the true source of healing. Catherine retired in 2019, but TrueNorth has continued to grow and evolve, now focusing exclusively on Telehealth services.

Our Therapist/Owner

Melissa Armbruster, MA L.L.P, has been working with families for over 40 years in one capacity or another. She is committed to helping individuals integrate Christian principles into their personal issues. With her extensive experience and training, Melissa is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients.
