Hart to Heart Counseling is a dedicated and growing practice committed to providing exceptional mental health services to the individuals, couples, and families in the Grand Forks and Fargo communities. Founded in 2015, our mission is to make quality counseling accessible and affordable for everyone, with a strong emphasis on timely support and understanding.

Our Comprehensive Services

We offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities to address diverse needs. Our licensed and experienced therapists specialize in individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, and group therapy. We provide evidence-based approaches such as play therapy for children, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, and anger management techniques. Recognizing the vital importance of early intervention, we also provide court-ordered low-intensity services and chemical dependency assessments.

Moreover, Hart to Heart Counseling understands the sensitivity surrounding mental health concerns and offers services in a variety of settings including office consultations, convenient telehealth sessions, and personalized in-home therapy options.

We strive to continuously evolve and expand our service offerings. Later in 2023, we are excited to introduce specialized adolescent group therapy at our Fargo location.

We firmly believe that financial constraints should not be a barrier to seeking mental health support. To that end, we offer numerous flexible payment options, including in-house grants and sliding fee scales based on individual needs. We are also in-network with most major private and public health insurance plans, making coverage more readily attainable.

Tele-health Services

Hart to Heart Counseling offers HIPAA-compliant telehealth services to individuals residing in both Minnesota and North Dakota. This expands our reach, making our comprehensive counseling services accessible to a broader population while prioritizing the privacy and security of our clients' sensitive information.

Our Legacy of Care and Growth

Since our inception in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Hart to Heart Counseling has grown significantly, expanding our services and physical presence. We have relocated to a larger space in Grand Forks and proudly opened a second location in Fargo.

Our commitment to giving back to the mental health field is demonstrated through our participation in the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan forgiveness program, providing invaluable clinical experience to internship students and supervised work experience for those seeking licensure.
