At Wright Education Services, we believe that every individual deserves access to quality counseling services, regardless of their social economic status, race, ethnicity, or physical, developmental, or mental ability. Founded in 1988 by Thomas R. Wright, L.C.S.W., our organization has been providing counseling services to Shasta County residents for over three decades. Our mission is to help people eliminate negative behaviors through education, counseling, and respect. We strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for individuals to work towards their goals and promote personal empowerment and accountability.
Our Services
Our team of professionals offers a range of services, including:
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): Customized to meet the individual needs of companies and their employees, our EAP program offers professional help with substance abuse, anger, individual and family issues.
- Substance Abuse Programs: We provide Department of Transportation Qualified Substance Abuse Professional Services, including the Child Endangerment Program (52 weeks), Domestic Violence Program (52 weeks), Anger Management Program (16 weeks and 52 weeks), and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).
- Counseling Services: We offer individual, couples, and family counseling, as well as assessment consultation and substance abuse treatment. Our team of licensed therapists has degrees and training in related fields to meet the needs of our clients.
- Triple P Parenting Programs: We offer research-based parenting programs to help parents build stronger, more effective relationships with their children.

We offer classes at various times and locations in Redding, California. You can download our current class schedule as a PDF file. Please note that all scheduling regarding your DUI program must be done in person, either by the client, a friend, or a family member.
Negative Comments

They reported being treated rudely by staff, a lack of help after initial assessments, and a lack of confidentiality.
